Donald “Diller” William Borman
age 82, of Glidden, died on Monday March 3, 2014 at Amery Regional Medical Hospital in Amery.  He was born on January 12, 1932 in Donner's Grove, IL, the son of William D. and Agnes Leona (Houder) Borman.  His early life and schooling were in Morse.  Donald was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War.  On March 17, 1962 he married Gladys Ocker in Fifield.  Donald worked at various sawmills and veneer mills throughout his life and was a former Town of Gordon Supervisor.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Glidden VFW Post where he was a past Commander.  He enjoyed vintage automobiles, and loved the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
 
He is survived by:

Rachel, Danielle, Ben, Erica, Brittany, Adam, Craig, and Jason

(1)sister: Carol Reischel of Glidden
(1)brother: Bob (Virginia) Borman of Mellen
and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gladys in 2006, (2)infant sons, his brother Richard, and sister Anita Aho.
 
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
