Eleanore E. Lavin, age 86, of Butternut, died on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls. She was born on July 1, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Max and Aniela (Kaminski) Walczewski. She came to Butternut at an early age. On April 7, 1945 she married Clarence Lavin in Butternut. Eleanore was a homemaker, loved reading, traveling, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence in 1988, her great-granddaughter Hannah, and (2)brothers: Walter and Edmond Walczewski.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
