Emily Edinger 87, Ogema



Emily Edinger, 87, of Ogema, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips.
She was born on January 19, 1925, in Ogema, the daughter of Bohuslav and Margaret (Kiska) Yunek.
She attended and graduated from Phillips High School, with the class of 1943. Following graduation she worked various jobs until she met and married Donald Edinger on Dec. 19, 1946. They celebrated 48 years together.
Making their home in Ogema  they owned and operated a milk hauling business, where she carried many cans of milk until they went to bulk trucks They later sold the milk routes and purchased a semi truck and traveled coast to coast covering most all of the U.S.
A serious accident caused them to retire making their home in Gallistel Trailer Court in Ogema.
Her grandchildren were the love of her life. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, gardening, fishing, hunting, playing cards and sharing her many trucking stories
She is survived by her son Gale (Karen) Edinger, Ogema, 4 grandchildren: Sherri (Mike) Edinger, Hatley, Wi., Todd (Tami) Edinger, and, Kim (Terry) Krawczyk. all of Ogema and Kale (Katie) Edinger, Kennan., by 7 great grandchildren: Bailey, Todd Jr., Tek, Max, Chasey, Kylie and Trent, by 1 great great granddaughter Adaline and by 2 brothers: Delane (Judy) Yunek, Ogema, and John Yunek, Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Donald on Aug. 1, 1995, by 1 infant brother by 1 sister Anabelle Wheeler, and by 1 brother Ben Yunek.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Inurnment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Ogema.
The Heindl Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangments
