Evelyn L. Athey
age 90, of Park Falls, died on Friday February 15, 2013 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. She was born on July 9, 1922 in Park Falls, the daughter of Francis and Josephine (Madson) Osborne. Her early life and schooling were in Park Falls. After graduating from high school she attended Beauty College and became a Beautician. On September 20, 1943 she married Robert Athey in Milwaukee. The couple lived in Milwaukee until 1960 when the moved to Phillips and owned and operated the Elk House until 1965. They returned to Milwaukee where they lived until retirement in 1981 and moved to Park Falls. She was a member of the Park Falls American Legion Auxiliary. Evelyn enjoyed sewing, knitting, and craft works, she was a fan of the Packers and Brewers, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert in 1996.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 19, 2013 at10:30am from Peace Lutheran Church in Park Falls. Rev. Dale Heinlein will officiate.
Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 9:30am until the hour of the service.
