Gregory “Greg” L. DeBoth. 59, Prentice, died on Thursday, April 17,2014, at the Aspirus Hospital, Medford. He was born on June 16, 1954, in Phillips, the son of Ronald and Arlene (Ohrstrom) DeBoth. He spent his entire life in the Prentice area. He attended and graduated from Prentice High School, Class of 1972. He was married to Diana Plude on June 17, 1989, in Prentice. He was employed as a truck driver for Guzinski Logging, Prentice for a period following high school. He then went into business with his brother Tim and formed DeBoth Bros. Trucking and Logging in 1978. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Ch., Prentice, as an EMT and Firefighter for the Village of Prentice, and a member of the Timber Producers
He is survived by his wife Diana , by 2 sons: Samuel and Alex, by his parents, Ronald and Arlene DeBoth, , by his brother Tim DeBoth, by 1 sister: Lori (Bradley) Swenson,all of Prentice, by 5 grandchildren McKenna, Karsyn, Ajia, Jadyn, and Harper, by 1 Step Daughter: Jenny (Jason) Johnson, Brantwood, by 2 Step Sons: Peter (Sarah Jasser) Clendenning, Rib Lake, Wi., and Jacob (Kari) Clendenning, Minocqua, and by 4 nieces: Traci Swenson and Trisha (Corey Digman) Swenson and Nicole (Charles) Vasapoli, and Erica (Derek Kochan) DeBoth
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Prentice, with Fr. Gerald Hagen officiating. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery, in the spring. Friends may call after 5:30 P.M. on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, where a parish wake service will be conducted by Mrs Bonnie Moquin at 7:00 P.M. Friends may also call from 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church until the time of the service.
