James M. Ruberg
passed away peacefully on Sunday April 20, 2014 at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls. He was born on December 20, 1925 in Morse, the son of the Late Axel and Anna Eineichner. James grew up in the Glidden area and was raised by his mother's sister Cecile Pohl and her husband Joseph Pohl. As a young boy he always had a job beside working on the farm. Before his high school graduation World War II broke out. James enlisted in the Marines. He served honorably in Okinawa and Mariana Islands and in Japan during the occupation after the Japanese surrendered. After the war James returned to work in logging. In 1950 he moved to Milwaukee, where he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad for 36 years. On November 4, 1950 James married Rosela Neumann. They raised two daughters: Diana and Karen while living in the Milwaukee area. In 1986 Jim and Rose retired and moved to Shanagolden, the area that they both loved.
James is survived by:

grandsons: Curt of Tampa Bay, FL, Garret & Eric, both of Minneapolis, MN, and granddaughter: Sherry and her son, James' great-grandson, Jax James, also of Pensacola, FL
grandson Mike (Frieda) and their children, Jame's great-grandchildren Ava and James, all of Waukesha, and granddaughter Kristen of Sussex.
James is preceded in death by his parents, His grandson Mark, Diana's son. his siblings: Brandi Zimple, Alvin Ruberg, Evangeline Keates, and Ramona Ignell.
James and Rosela's wishes are to have a private family burial at a later date together.
