John C. Frydrych, age 86, of Butternut, died on Sunday December 29, 2013 at his home where he was loved and cared for by his children. He was born on June 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Frank and Pauline (Wierzeicki) Frydrych. His early life and schooling were in Chicago. John lived most of his life in Butternut where he was a dairy farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Kristi Lee Frydrych, (2)brothers: Edmund and Mitchell Frydrych. (2)sisters: Emily Ruck and Sophie Kane.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 2, 2013 at 10:00am from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Butternut. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara and Deacon Bob Schienebeck will officiate.
Burial will follow at St. Cecelia Catholic Cemetery in Butternut.
A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday January 1, 2013 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with a Parish Prayer Vigil at 6:00pm and o n Thursday from 9:00am until the hour of the service.
