age 92, of Park Falls, died on March 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on March 7, 1922 in Park Falls, the son of Emil and Marcia (Smolic) Vuchetich. His early life and schooling were in Park Falls. After his schooling he entered the United States Air Corps serving as a bombardier on a B17 Bomber and reached the rank of Second Lieutenant. Karl worked for the United States Forest Service. He was an avid fan of the Cubs, Badgers, and the Green Bay Packers. He was an accomplished golfer and enjoyed bird hunting, wood working and working the weekly newspaper crossword puzzle. His greatest pleasure was having coffee with his WWII buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Mike, Lawrence, Frank, & John, his sisters: Mary Vuchetich, Jenny Vandehey, and Margaret Pozza.
A memorial service will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 at 11:00am from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Deacon Chet Ball will officiate. Military Honors will follow under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion and VFW Posts.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
Interment will take place at a later date at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.
