Loraine Edythe Eder
age 90, longtime resident of Glidden, passed away on Thursday August 14, 2014 at Pine Ridge Assisted Living in Park Falls. She was born on February 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Gustave and Elsa (Haut) Dolgner. She attended and graduated from Girl's Technical High School in Milwaukee and then worked at A.O. Smith Company as a munitions inspector sorting incendiary bullets for the war effort until she married Elmer J. Eder on December 16, 1944. Shortly after the birth of their first son David, the family moved to the Glidden area, ten years later their second son Jeffrey was born. The couple resided in the Glidden area for the rest of their lives. Loraine ran a catering service with a friend for a number of years. She became site manager for the Glidden Area Senior Center until her retirement a few years ago.

Celias, Ellie, Ava, and Sophie
and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elmer, and her brother John Dolgner.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 21, 2014 at 11:00am from Trinity Lutheran Church in Glidden. Rev. Jacob Stuenkel will officiate.
Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Glidden.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00am until the hour of the service at the church.
