Lucille Elizabeth Dums
age 94, long time town of Eisenstein resident, entered Eternal Life Monday, December 16 at Park Manor Nursing Home. The daughter of William and Clara (Dumont) Hahn, she was born October 22, 1919 in Bayfield, WI. At an early age she moved to Park Falls. On October 1, 1938 she married Carl Dums in Park Falls. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in working the family farm. He preceded her in death in 1974. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, visiting with friends and neighbors and picking wild berries. Her greatest love was children. She enjoyed many years as a caregiver for young and old, both family and friends.

She is further survived by 13 grandchildren Cathy (Randy) Rose, Butternut; Bev (Brian) Henkel, Rhinelander, Bonnie (Tom) Cyganek, Madison; Glenn Witmer Jr., Fort Lauderdale, FL, Amy (Mike) Klementz, Oregon, WI; Angie (Chris) Justman, Sun Prairie, Rae Anne (Tom) Beaudry, Franklin, Steve Breckenridge, Rhinelander, Cissi (Gary) Mysliwy, Greenfield, Rick (Julie) Dums, Dayton, NV, Dani (Adam) Hoffman, Park Falls, Nicole Tapplin, Couer D’ Alene, ID and Toni Tapplin, Spokane, WA; by 19 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Alex Henkel, Nick Cyganek, Benjamin and Zachary Klementz, Taylor and Teague Justman, Alex Beaudry, Jared Klepac, Brandi, Nicholas and Samantha Breckenridge, Sarah and Grace Mysliwy, Gabriel, Isaiah and Tristan Dums, and Regan and Jacob Hoffman; by two great-great grandchildren, Chloe and Daniel Breckenridge; by a special niece, Patti Peters, Fifield, and by a special friend, Sharon Slayton, Antigo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, by one brother, Leonard Hahn, by three sisters, Dorothy (Charles) Gaul, Hannah (William) Weyker and Beverly “Betty” (Pat) Carl, by an infant granddaughter, Tammy Richson, by a special niece, Betty (Bill) Brooks, and by a special nephew, Luke Peters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00am from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Park Falls. Father Shaji Pashukkathara officiating.
Burial followed in Nola Cemetery, Park Falls.
A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of service.
Novitzke Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
