Michael “Mike” Kincade, 71, passed away quietly Sunday morning, February 23, 2014, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI from complications of a recent stroke.
Mike was born on the date of his father’s birthday, February 11, 1943 in Watseka, Illinois to Lester L. Kincade and Faye Luellen (Hedgecock) Kincade. His early life and schooling were in Wellington, Illinois where he graduated from Wellington High School in 1961.
Mike served his country in the U.S. Army. For many years he worked for Centurylink doing fiber optic installations in Boulder, Colorado. Mike moved to Phillips, WI after his retirement in 2002.
Mike is survived by his best friend, Mike Pederson from Strum, WI, and his many friends from Victory Christian Center and around the Phillips area.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 4:30 pm followed with a Celebration of Life service at 6:00 pm at Victory Christian Center in Phillips, WI.
Interment will take place in Floral Hill Cemetery, Hoopeston, Illinois at a later date.
