Randall "Randy" L. Winter,57, Township of Kennan



Randall “Randy” L. Winter, 57, Township of Kennan, died at his home on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was born on September 7, 1955, in Virginia, the son of Roy and Marilyn (Markley) Winter. He was a lifelong resident of Kennan. He attended and graduated from Phillips High Class of 1973. He was married to Sharon Strobl on June 28, 1975 in Catawba. They recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. He was employed as a dairy farmer, a school bus driver for the Phillips School District, a hunting guide, and was the local representative for the Eau Claire Office of Wil-Kil Pest control..
In his free time he was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his 3 granddaughters.
He was a member of the Kennan Fire Department.
He is survived by his Sharon, Kennan, by his parents; Roy and Marilyn Winter, Marenisco, Mi..,  by  his 3 children: Tara Marie (Jeff) Lebeck, Hortonville, Wi., Angela (Kirk) Unbehaun, Appleton, Wi., and Eric Winter, Kennan and his special friend Carli Kronstedt, Eau Claire, Wi., by his 3 granddaughters: Taylor, Emma, and Abigail Lebeck., by 4 brothers: Francis (Marcia) Winter, Eagle River, Wi., Alan (Heidi) Winter Atlanta, Ga., Marlin Winter, Marenisco, Mi. and John Winter, Hortonville, Wi., and by 3 sisters: Janice (David) Nordberg, Marenisco, Mi. Colleen  (Dave) Rademacher, Minocqua, and Shelly (Mark) Mettler, Marenisco, Mi., and by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Catawba, with Fr. Gerald Hagen and Pastor Alan Winter officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, after 5:00 P.M. at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where a parish wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
A memorial fund has been established
The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, is in charge of the arrangements
