Victor Joseph Lasica, 73, Lannon, Wisconsin, died at his home in Lannon on Monday, November 18. He was born in Phillips on September 3, 1940, the son of Victor and Anna (Smugala) Lasica. He was a graduate of the Phillips High School. He served his country in the U.S. Military during the Viet Nam War. He was married to Susan Mason in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 6, 1967. He worked in a foundry until the time of his retirement. He is survived by one son, Keith Lannon, WI; by one daughter, Kristen (Dan) Lasica-Soltis, Sussex, WI; by one granddaughter, Shelly Lasica; and by one sister, Dorothy (Clarence) Ellman, Kennan, WI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, November 22, at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips with Deacon James Celba of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Lane Kreiling American Legion Post No. 122 and the Frank and Michael Baran VFW Post No. 5778. Inurnment will be in the Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.
