Delight Alice Schienebeck
Age 77, of Butternut was called to her eternal rest with Christ on July 3rd 2012.  She was born on March 9, 1935 in Peeksville, WI.  The daughter of Herman John and Jennie Alice (Hill) Patitz, she spent her early life and schooling in the Peeksville / Glidden area.  On October 3, 1953 she married Keith Schienebeck in Glidden.  The couple lived in various locations throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho before moving back to Glidden in 1955.
Delight was a homemaker, a Glidden area school bus driver for 5 years, a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and a member of the Butternut American Legion Auxiliary. 
 
She is survived by:

Henry (Laurie) Schienebeck of Butternut
Barbara (Michael) Klein of Hustler
Becky (Dennis) Boushon of Park Falls
(7) Grandchildren, (4) step-grandchildren, (7)great-grandchildren, (1) great step grandchild
her brother Melvin (Dorothy) Patitz of Hueytown, Alabama
her step-sisters: Pat (Sam) _Hillman of Lombard Il, Delores Holman and Joyce (Orville) Peterson of Brainard Minn. , and Carol (Lloyd) Engebretson of Elmhurst, Il.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother Vera, (4) brothers: William, Glenn, Wayne, and infant brother Paul Patitz, (3) nephews David, Don, and Bruce Patitz and (1) niece, Mary Kathrin Patitz.
 
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2012 at 11:00am from St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Butternut.  Rev. John A. Deitz will officiate.
 
Interment will follow at Butternut Union Cemetery.
 
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
 
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
