Veteran LeRoy Cerny age 88 of Park Falls, WI died Saturday June 30, 2012 at his home. He was born February 23, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Hugo & Elizabeth (Ewald) Cerny. His early life and schooling were in Milwaukee, WI. He then entered the U.S. Air Corps serving during WWII in Europe. Lee returned to Milwaukee, WI and married June Albert on May 24, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI. He worked at the American Motors Plant in Milwaukee, WI. Lee and his wife also owned and operated a restaurant in Milwaukee for several years. In 1974 the couple moved to Park Falls, WI and Lee went to work at the Flambeau Paper Co. in Park Falls and then at the Butternut Veneer Mill in Butternut, WI until his retirement.
 
He is survived by:
(1)Daughter- Betty Ann (Sal) Pirelli of Milwaukee, WI
(5)Grandchildren
(3) Great-Grandchildren
His special friends: Ralf and Ruth Zielinski of Sparta, WI
and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents,his wife June on June 25, 2012, his son Lee James Cerny and (2) Brothers.
 
A private service will be held at a later date.
