(veteran)Richard S. “RB” Botka
age 61, of Park Falls, died on Monday July 30, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. He was born on April 20, 1951 in Joliet, IL, the son of Edward and Ida (Koshak) Botka. His early life and schooling where in Illinois. After graduating high school he entered the United States Marine Corps. RB came to Park Falls in the early 1980's where he was a successful Tavern owner and operator and worked for the former Holiday Station. He was a member of the Dreadnaughts MC, WI and was an avid motorcycle rider who loved to “catch the wind” and was very involved with charity rides. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark Botka.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 11:30am from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate.
Interment will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls with military rites under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion and VFW Posts.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday at the church from 10:30am until the hour of the service.
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
