Mary Agnes Weinzinger, 91, Phillips, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. She was born in Phillips on December 2, 1920, the daughter of Agnes and Andrew Gago Sr. She was married to John Weinzinger in Crown Point, Indiana, on November 24, 1948. She was employed by the Rose Wreath of Phillips for many years. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, dancing, baking, and the outdoors.
She is survived by one son, John Jr, Junction City, WI; by four grandchildren; and by three sisters, Anne Mancl, Phillips, Bernice (Bill) Brockdorf, West Bend, WI, and Mildred Kurtz, Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband, John on December 15, 1982; by two daughters, Sally Roberts, and an infant daughter; by three brothers, Andrew, Rudy, and Albert Gago; and by one sister Ellie Koslowski.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 13, at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips with Deacon James Celba of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Phillips. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 12, and on Monday morning until the time of services.
