Rose Tom, 92, Franklin, Wisconsin, former Phillips, resident died in the St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee on Thursday, September 6.  She was born in the Town of Emery on March 28, 1920, the daughter of Venzl (Vaclav) and Antonia (Bilek) Kohout.  She was married to Frank Tom in Phillips on September 30, 1939.  She was a member of the ZCBJ/WFLA Lodge No. 236.  In her free time she enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.     She is survived by two sons, Francis and Larry, both of Franklin; and by two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on March 17, 2008
     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 14, at the Emery Cemetery in the Town of Emery with Pastor Matthew Arneson of the First Presbyterian Church of Phillips officiating..
