Delores Elaine Haubert, 88, Prentice, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips while under the care of Falmbeau Home Health and Hospice. She was born in Prentice, Wisconsin, on March 9, 1924, the daughter of Gustave and Stella (Johnson) Englund. She was a 1942 graduate of the Prentice High School. She was employed by Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee, and then for many years as a clerk at the Prentice CO-OP. She was married to Joseph Haubert in Prentice on December 20, 1944. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Prentice, and in latter years of the First Baptist Church of Prentice. In her free time she enjoyed roller skating, dancing, travel, handiwork, and visiting with her friends.
She is survived by five children, Diana (Jack) Kalander, Prentice, Terry (Pat), Prentice, Laureen (Michael) McCune, Norwood, CO, Donna (Jeff) Nelson, Hawkins, and JoDee (Don) Ruka, Prentice; by 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and by 2 great great grandchildren; and by one sister, Myrtle (Andy) Fischer, Merrill, WI. She was prededed in death by her husband, Joseph, on December 29, 1993; by three grandchildren; by two brothers, Everett and infant Coy; and by four sisters, Laura Magnuson, Violet Seymore, Mabel Forsberg, and Alice Kalinus.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 3, at the First Baptist Church in Prentice with Pastor Ralph Miller officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Prentice Cemetery in Prentice.
