Doris Lee Hall 73, Prentice, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips. She was born on May 22, 1939, in Prentice, the daughter of Lee and Helen (Zastrow) Haskins. She was a lifelong resident of the Prentice area. She attended school in Prentice. She was married to Eugene Hall Sr. on April 14, 1955, in Prentice. The recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary She was employed locally as a CNA and also as a short order cook. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, crafts, playing the piano, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Prentice, of TOPPS and the Women’s Auxillary VFW Post #8491, Prentice
She is survived by her husband Eugene, Sr., Prentice, by 9 children: Vernard, Prentice, Eugene, Jr. (Laurie) Prentice, Pat (Dawn) Phillips, Dale, Prentice, Mary (Russell) Wozniak, Bloomer, Bill, Prentice, Diane (John) Ruud, Prentice, Jeff, Ogema, and Sam (Stephanie) Prentice, by 3 grandchildren Cody and Helena Hall, and Russell, Jr. (Jennifer) Wozniak, by 3 great grandchildren Rose, Jacob, and Anthony Wozniak
By 4 brothers: Roy (Linda) Haskins, Phillips, Gene (Joyce) Haskins, Ogema, Norman (Sue) Haskins, Ingram, and Don Haskins, Prentice, by 3 sisters: Lorraine Sarkkinen, Prentice, Elaine (Larry) Pfaffendorf, Kennan, and Carol Anderson, Eau Claire, Wi.,
She was preceded in death by her parents, by 3 brothers: Howard, Roger, and Bob Haskins, by 2 daughters: Arlene and Pam Hall, and by 2 sons: Jerry and Jeffrey Hall.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Prentice, with Pastor Gary Uttech officiating. Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery, Prentice. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. at the church on Saturday until the time of the service.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, is in charge of the arrangements.
