Anita Louise Altman
Age 88, of Park Falls, died peacefully at home on Saturday November 24, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1924 in Butternut, the daughter of Fred and Helen (Williams) Zoesch. Her early life and schooling were in Butternut. Anita worked for resorts on the Flowage as a young woman. On May 18, 1948 she married Peter Altman in Park Falls. She and Peter owned the Altman family farm on River Road. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being an Avon representative for 40 years. Anita also enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting, her flower gardens, bird watching, dancing, and daily coffee at McDonalds with her sister Lorraine. She found great joy spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Peter, her daughter Carolyn Ertl, her brothers Eugene and Paul Zoesch, her sisters: Louis Stempinski and Dorthy Ford, and her grandson-in-law Dennis Kelnhofer.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday November 30, 2012 at 11:00am from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara will officiate.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
