Evelyn Marie Davis, 90, Phillips, died in the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips on Monday, December 3. She was born on July 5, 1922 in the Town of Spirit, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Annie Nyberg. She was married to Charles Mosher in Chicago, Illinois, in 1932, and he preceded her in death in 1975. She was married to Robert Davis in 1979, and he proceeded her in death in 1983. In her early years of marriage she lived in Park Falls, Green Bay, and then later in Oak Park, Illinois. She moved back to Price County to Phillips in 1990, and then to DuRoy Terrace Apartments in 2008. She attended the United Methodist Church in Phillips. In her free time she enjoyed travel, flower gardening, baking, and cats. She is survived by two sister-in-laws, Eveline Nyberg, Spirit, and Barbara Nyberg, Phillips; and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Mosher and Robert Davis; by brothers Leonard Nyberg, and Clarence Nyberg, by half brother Lloyd Nyberg, and by two step-brothers, Hugh Nyberg and Ellsworth Nyberg; by sisters Frieda Straka, Adeline Shepanski, Alice Jones, and Lillian Olson, and step-sister, Liela Nyberg; and by nephews Rodger Nyberg, Stewart Nyberg, Franklin Hasselbring, George Olson, and Lester Jokela.
A graveside memorial service will be held at the Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery near Memorial Day in 2013.
The Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
