Gertrude L. Mocbeichel, 92,Township of Elk, died on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips. She was born on November 7, 1920, in Stuttgart, West Germany the daughter of Gottleib and Friederke (Weida) Heimsch. She came to the United States with her family 1924 to Milwaukee. She met and married her husband Adolph Mocbeichel on January 27, 1940, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2007. She was employed at the Helwig Corporation in Milwaukee for over 25 years prior to her retirement. Following their retirement they made their home in the Township of Elk. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by 1 son: Ronald Mocbeichel, Sr., Township of Elk, by 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Adolph, by 1 son Lester, and by 1 sister Frieda Brucker
A private family service will be held at a later date with inurnment in the Lakeside Cemetery, Phillips.
