Dave A. Richter
age 70, of Butternut, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 6, 1942 in Park Falls, the son of Arthur and Ruth (Engel) Richter. His early life and schooling were in Park Falls. Dave was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Flambeau Paper Mill for nearly 30 years. Dave enjoyed his time outdoors, whether as part of the logging industry or as an avid hunter or fisherman. He also shared his welding and large equipment expertise to help anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time playing cards with his friends.

and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant grandson: Dominic, and his brother Howie Richter.
Committal services will be held at Butternut Union Cemetery on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 3:00pm. Pastor John A. Deitz will officiate and military honors will be held under the auspices of the Butternut American Legion Post.
A gathering of family and friends will be held beginning at 6:00pm at Dick and Joan's Butternut Resort in Butternut. Please bring your memories to share.
