Leonard A. Hilgart
age 91, of Park Falls, died on Thursday January 10, 2013 at Park Manor Nursing Home in Park Falls.  He was born on July 25, 1921 in Park Falls the son of Anton and Theresa (Stauber) Hilgart.  His early life and schooling were in Park Falls.  Leonard was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII.  On July 29, 1950 he married Marion Haeussler in Park Falls.  Leonard worked as a journeyman lineman for Lake Superior District Power Company and Northern States Power Company.  He was a volunteer fireman and enjoyed playing cards, gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter Kimberly Wheat, (8)brothers: Edward, William, Conrad, Herbert, Richard, James, Norman, and an infant brother, and his sister Dorothy Lowery.
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 12, 2013 at 11:00am from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls.  Fr. Ron Levra will officiate.
 
Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls with military honors under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion and VFW Posts.
 
A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
