Charles W. Miesbauer, age 83 of Park Falls, WI passed away Saturday, Jan 12, 2013 at Mellen Manor in Mellen, WI.
Charlie was born Oct 9, 1929 in Park Falls, WI the son of Otto and Louise (Bradle) Miesbauer. He was a Sergeant with the Military Police during the Korean War. On Sept 30, 1950 he was united in marriage to June R. Behreandt in Park Falls. He was a logger his entire life and together with June ran a small dairy farm. He enjoyed hunting and seldom missed bagging a buck. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife of 62 years, June, of Park Falls, WI; children: Charles, Jr. (Christine) of Butternut, WI, Jeanette Miesbauer of Park Falls, WI, Patrick (Amy) of Butternut, WI, Ronald (Janet) of Mass City, MI, Scot (Carri) of Butternut, WI and Robert (Lisa) of Butternut, WI; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene of Park Falls, WI; sister, Mary Hodun of Park Falls, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Thomas and one grandson, Adam.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Charlie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan 19, 2013 at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Park Falls with Father Ronald Levra as celebrant.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church in Park Falls and continue until the hour of service.
Interment will be private.
