Richard F. Morrison
age 76, of Park Falls, died on Tuesday March 12, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on May 19, 1936 in Park Falls, the son of Jesse “Jack” and Stella (Padour) Morrison. His early life and schooling were in Park Falls. On November 2, 1957 he married Arlene Loula in Phillips. Rich was a self employed logger and truck driver. He was an avid race car driver, racing in Phillips in the 1950's until the age of 61 when he won the Six Cylinder Championship at the ABC Raceway in Ashland. Rich enjoyed playing cards with his friends, hunting out West and was always ready with a good story.He is survived by:

his sister Doris (Rollie) Kronberger of Park Falls
and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends + his canine companion “Oliver”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 16, 2013 at 1:00pm from the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Park Falls. Rev. James Imse will officiate.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the church and on Saturday from 12:00pm until the hour of the service at the church.
Private interment will take place at a later date at the Town of Emery Cemetery outside of Phillips.
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
