Margaret “Marge” A. Danby, 93, Phillips, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips. She was born on August 9, 1919, the daughter of Stephen and Herminia (Simek) Revak. She came to Price County, to Phillips, with her family in 1922. She spent her early life and received her schooling in Phillips. As a young lady she moved to Chicago where she met and was married to William Frederick Danby on May 7, 1938, in Winnetka, IL. They made their home in Illinois for many years. Her husband preceded her in death on August 7, 1993. She remained in Illinois until the time of her retirement in 2005, when she returned to Phillips. She is survived by two sons, David Danby, Elk Grove Village, Il, and William (Susan) Danby, Bardon, Queensland, Australia; by one granddaughter, Laura Danby; by one sister, Helen Stubbs; and by one brother, Frank Revak. She is preceded in death by her husband, William; by her parents; by three sisters, Ann Retel, Mary Papa, and Agnes Reimann; and by eight brothers, Steve Revak, Rudolph Revak, John Revak, Phillip Revak, Joseph Revak Carl Revak, Anthony Revak, and Peter Revak.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 10, at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Phillips with Father Gerald Hagen officiating.
