Thomas O. Lokken, 75, Phillips, died on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at his home. He was born on July 24, 1937, in Tomahawk, the son of Olaf and Marie (Majerus) Lokken. He spent his early life and schooling in Tomahawk. He attended and graduated from Tomahawk High School, Class of 1955. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from, 1955 to 1976. He was married to Jane Reiner in Gwen, Michigan. While in the military service he was stationed in many parts of the world. He retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. Following military service he resided in California and Wausau before making Phillips his home for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, traveling and fishing.
He was a member of the American Legion Post in Park Falls
He is survived by 1 daughter Valerie (Tom) Gimbel, Concord, California, by 2 grandchildren; Laura and Chris, by 2 brothers: David (Margaret) Lokken, Butternut, and Sidney (Sandra) Lokken, Tomahawk, by 1 sister: Susan (Steven) Hinsa, Tomahawk, and by 2 Half-Brothers: Jerry Rooni, Brantwood, and James (Kate) Rooni, Austin, Tx.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jane.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tomahawk, with military honors to be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of War Posts of Tomahawk.
