Judith Ann Boers, 70, Township of Worcester, died on July 11, 2013, at her home .She was born on August 22, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wi., the daughter of Orron Hershel and Margarette (Morrow) McLallen. She spent her early life and schooling in Milwaukee. She attended and graduated from West Milwaukee High School, then attended and graduated from Cardinal Stritch College. She was married to Richard Allen Burgard on June 3, 1961. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1983. She then married Thomas A. Boers on January 14, 2000, in Phillips.
She was the owner and operator of Hyde Park a business that specialized in custom made sheepskin and leather products, then was employed by Schlitz Audubon Society, River Hills, Wi. was the executive secretary of nursing administration at University Community Hospital, in Tampa, Fla., and most recently was the executive director on the Phillips Area Chamber of Commerce in Phillips.
She is survived by her husband Thomas, Township of Worcester, by 1 son: Christopher (Lisa) Burgard, Aqua Dulce, Ca., by 2 daughters Dedee (Jeff) Schillinger,
Phillips, and Traci Burgard, Maui, Hawaii, by 5 grandchildren Alexa, Morgan, Noah, MacKenna and Canyon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband Richard A. Burgard and by her older brother Ronald McLallen.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Therese of Lesieux Catholic Church, Phillips, with Fr. Gerald Hagen officiating. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 27, until the hour of the service.
