Frank L. Swansey, 49, Prentice, died at his home on Friday, December 13, while under the care of his family and Flambeau Home Health and Hospice. He was born in Bellville, Texas, on February 8, 1964, the son of Jesse and FredDean Swansey. He attended Westwood College where he earned a degree in Software Engineering. He served his country in the United States Air Force and in the US Army National Guard. He was married to Peggy Kosterman in Phillips on September 10, 1992. He was a member of the Phillips F & AM Lodge No. 225. In his free time he enjoyed young children, gardening, cooking out, video games, and watching Sci-Fi movies. He is survived by his wilfe, Peggy; by two children, Amanda (Travis Walber) Swansey, Phillips, and Daniel “Bubba”, Prentice; by his mother, FredDean Swansey, Texas; by one brother, Mike, Bellville, TX; and by two sisters, Shirley (Allen) Rust, Brenham, TX, and Sharon (Scott) Boll, Brenham, TX. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesse.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 20, at the Log Church in Tripoli with Pastor Larry Mathein officiating, Masonic services will be conducted by the Phillips F & AM Lodge No 225, and military honors will be accorded by the Southern Price County VFW Post No. 8491.
