Leonard P. Hoefferle
age 94, of Park Falls, died on Sunday January 19, 2014, at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls. He was born on November 18, 1919 in Park Falls. The son of John and Rose (Schaper) Hoefferle. His early life and schooling were in Park Falls. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a POW in WWII. On August 10 1946 he married Louise Engel in Butternut. Later Leonard worked and became part owner of St. Croix Rods in Park Falls. He was an advid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by:
his wife Louise
Gary (Teri) Hoefferle of Waupaca
Erin Miton both of Waupaca
Drevon Haka, all of Waupaca
and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Darla Hoefferle in 1967.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 22, 2014, at 11:00 am from Peace Lutheran Church in Park Falls. Rev. Dale Heinlein will officiate.
A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service.
Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls with military honors under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion and VFW Posts.
