Lloyd J. Heizler, 79, Township of Worcester died on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Golden Living Center/Golden Age Nursing Home, Tomahawk. He was born on July 28, 1934, in Phillips, the son of Joseph and Laura (Zacharias) Heizler. He spent his life and schooling in the Phillips area. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.
He was married to Susan Pilch on April 4, 1959, in Phillips They celebrated over 54 years of marriage together He was employed by the Phillips Hardboard Plant, Phillips under different ownership of over 40 years prior to his retirement in 1995. In his free time he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends
He is survived by his wife Susan, Township of Worcester ,by 1 daughter: Dawn (Bob) Grunklee, Ellendale, Minn., by 2 sons Ben (Vicki) Heizler, Phillips, and Mike (Jodi) Heizler Brantwood, by 5 grandchildren: Melissa (Adam) Inzerillo, Orlando Fla., Becca (Luke) Plata, Goldsboro, N.C., Shawn Banks, Okinawa, Japan, and Mia and Logan Heizler, Brantwood, by 2 great grandchildren Scarlett Plata and Katie Inzerillo by 2 brothers: Ronald Heizler and Joe (Rozanne )Heizler, all of Phillips, and by 3 sisters: Jackie Hoven, Madison, Wi., Kathy (Al) Cole, Mission, Tx., and Jeanie (Randy)Anderson, Medford, Wi.:
