Doris Marlene Weber, 79, Phillips, died in the Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls on Thursday, February 6, 2014. She was born on October 17, 1934, in Menominee, Michigan, the daughter of William and Loretta (Van de Voort) Doyen. She was married to John Weber in Prentice, Wisconsin, on February 21, 1952. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church of Phillips. She worked as a Waitress at Louie’s Café in Phillips for many years. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting afghans, cooking, baking, and travel. She is survived by one brother, Richard (Verna) Doyen, Birchwood, Wisconsin; and by nieces and nephews. Her husband, John, preceded her in death on January 19, 1988.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 11, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Phillips with Father Gerald Hagen celebrating the Funeral Mass. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:0 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Phillips.
