Robert J. Koshak
age 86, of Park Falls, died on Thursday February 27, 2014 at Howard Young Memorial Medical Center in Woodruff. He was born on September 3, 1927 at the Sheep Ranch, five miles west of Fifield, the son of Joseph and Rose (Lobermeier) Koshak. After graduating from the Fifield High School in 1946, he worked in Milwaukee for Allis Chalmers for 30 years. After his retirement in 1978 he returned to Park Falls and became an avid fisherman, winning the Milwaukee Journal Trophy Award for Muskie catch of the year. Bob was a lifelong member of the Fifield Congregational Church. When he could no longer drive, members of the church drove him to and from services, for which he and his family are forever grateful. He served on the church board with the Pastor and his friends and always considered this a privilege and honor.

he is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ida Bodka, and infant brothers James and Henry, his brothers-in-law Dick Boles and Don Wiater.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 10:30am from the Fifield Congregational Church in Fifield. Rev. Larry Mathein will officiate.
Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Fifield.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00am until the hour of the service.
The Novitzke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has designated a memorial fund for the Fifield Congregation Church.
