Eva Frances Kolonko
age 97, of Madison, formerly of Butternut, died on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Oakwood Village East in Madison. She was born on April 21, 1917 in Butternut, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Sufa) Jendrysko. Her early life and schooling were in Butternut. On June 17, 1939 she married Joseph J. Kolonko. Eva was a homemaker and lived in Butternut until 2007 when she moved to Madison. She was a member of the Red Hats Ladies Club , the Catholic Order of Foresters-Christian Women, was very active with the Butternut Fair, the Butternut Election Board, and various community activities. Eva attended daily Mass and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

James (Donna) Kolonko of Northridge, CA
Joseph (Peggy) Kolonko of Waukesha, WI
Jerome (Jane) Kolonko of DeForest, WI
and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph in 2004, her brothers Arthur and twin brother Adam Jendrysko, and her sisters: Mary Zurowski, Rose Koch and her infant sister Anne.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 7, 2014 at 11:00am from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Butternut. Fr. Shaji Pazhukkathara and Deacon Robert Schienebeck will co-officiate.
Burial will follow at St. Cecelia Catholic Cemetery in Butternut.
A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
